PT Cruiser, buried..
Maybe I'm crazy, and I'd wager I'll be buried, but what if it is because poor people who cannot afford health insurance often overlap with being the type of people who make unhealthy life decisions, and are therefor in poorer health from the start. I can't imagine a similar survival rate between someone in great shape, who drinks only in moderation, and who eats healthy being the same as someone who is severely over-weight, drinks heavily, and eats McDonalds all the time. The poor fall into the latter category more often than the former. The ER surgeries to save people from these types of injuries are dangerous procedures, and being in better health will naturally give you a better chance to survive as you are less likely to have hypertension, diabetes, or other things which cause complications. A quick skim of the article and I didn't see this anywhere, although I did see that the researcher admitted a bias. This study offers no real "fodder for debate", as the article states, because it barely addresses the cause, and instead uses unsubstantiated claims about transfers and hospitals to push a political point, ignoring the point I made, which I thought would be obvious.!

Its not that they don't have sex, well maybe they don't, but its that even when they do have sex they aren't satisfied. If there were guys out there who couldn't have an orgasm without the help of a pill would you call it unnecessary??
odd, Edison's filament seems to have worked well enough for a light bulb to be still going after 100 years at a fire station: http://www.centennialbulb.org/ |

As I was reading that it made me think if this happened in the US and what the article would look like. I foreseen a lawsuit for the forklift drivers moving the unattended vehicles, a lawsuit against the man impaled by the town counsel for the damage done to the pole and the man impaled filing for bankruptcy for being unable to pay for the air lift bill and hospital fees. Funny how different two societies could be. This is just all speculation though....
